16 November 2025 – 15 February 2026
Curators of the exhibition: Magdalena Wosik, Dr hab. Professor ASPWr, Jakub Maciej Łubocki, PhD (MNWr)
The exhibition follows the Second Polish Triennale of Book Art, presenting works produced over the last three years which draw on the concept of a book, and were sent in response to the open call from the organisers of this event. The jury will select the winners of the Review, whilst visitors will be able to nominate their own laureate.
The leading theme of this edition of the Review is Reception. Using as the point of departure the thesis that the modern individual is a slave to reception or coverage – represented by access to the mobile telephone network and the Internet, the success of the social media measured by the number of followers, the overproduction of content and information overload, or ‘brain rot’ – the organisers pose the following questions: what is the place of book art in such an era? Does a book generate reception or is it a subject of reception from others? Do books carry content which can be followed by their readers? Could a book be a symbol of resistance to overwhelming reception?
Exhibition organised in collaboration with the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław.
