Guide: Agata Iżykowska-Uszczyk
Magdalena Abakanowicz (1930–2017) was an artist of worldwide fame and prestige. Based on her works from the collection of the National Museum in Wrocław, we will talk about the main stages of her work: starting with three-dimensional woven forms, called by their name “Abakans”, through figure cycles “Crowd”, “Back” and “Seated” made of jute fabric and resin to outdoor sculptures (from the “Birds” cycle and the “Knights of the Round Table” series) presented in front of and behind the Four-Domed Pavilion in Wrocław.
Admission with a ticket for the temporary exhibition. If you have any questions, please contact: email@example.com or 71 712 71 81.
